OFFSET HEAD PAPER COLLATING
Offset head nails serve the same purpose as clipped nails, however, they come with a full round head but are offset to one side of the shaft. This allows nails to be arranged tightly together in a strip holding more nails with steeper angles of collation. Offset head framing nails comes at a 34° angle and are collated in a paper tape, similar to D-head and Joist Hanger nails. What sets these nails apart from Joist hanger nails is their unique feature - they are glued without gaps due to their off-center head design.
