Paper Collating

D-HD Paper Tape

D-head paper tape framing nails are joined by a strip of paper and glued using the same technique as joist hanger nails. Our paper tape is 100% waterproof and designed for outdoor use, which means that nails will remain in their position in any weather conditions. Due to its D-shaped head, it is possible to glue nails without gaps which means more nails per strip. This type of nail ensures convenient work with a nail gun in tight situations.

D-head nails are designed for outdoor as well as indoor use. Mostly this type of nail is used in framing, terrace decking, fencing, or other construction projects

OFFSET COLLATING

Offset head nails serve the same purpose as clipped nails, however, they come with a full round head but are offset to one side of the shaft. This allows nails to be arranged tightly together in a strip holding more nails with steeper angles of collation. Offset head framing nails comes at a 34° angle and are collated in a paper tape, similar to D-head and Joist Hanger nails. What sets these nails apart from Joist hanger nails is their unique feature - they are glued without gaps due to their off-center head design. Unlike D-head nails, Offset Nails meet all building codes without any restrictions, making them a reliable choice for various applications. The paper tape can hold from 30 to 40 nails per tape. This type of nail is the same as the D-head nail. The only difference is that the offset nail has a full round head, which is offset from the center of the nail axis. Some building codes do not allow using of D-head nails for framing. It is because the nail head does not meet the minimum nail head diameter requirements set by the government. So, the solution to this problem is to use offset nails.

Offset nails are designed for outdoor as well as indoor use. Mostly this type of nail is used in framing, terrace decking, fencing, or other construction projects.
